The King of the Baggers race went off on Saturday and MotoAmerica posted the full 8-laps of Laguna Seca online. It's a heck of a race. Want to see a pro road racer backing it 800lb of tuned V-twin touring machine? Course you do.
We were also sent these photos of the official S&S-prepared Indian, and part of me is nodding in appreciation. Are bagger road racers the new hooligan dirt trackers? I can guarantee they won't survive a crash as well as a Sportster. GI

Dave Z has been Briar's crew chief and therefore employed by S&S, since Bauman joined the Indian team. DZ explained on the Off The Groove podcast, last year I think, that he lived out in Minnesota during the season.
In some of the videos that Indian posted, Dave Zanotti is working on this bike. It is my understanding that Dave Z works at S&S during the week.
