After we posted some photos of Neil MacQueen's DTRA Vintage Can-Am 250 two-stroke, David Dennis form Canada got in touch with this photo. It's him with a Can-Am 250 in a Panther frame. He says 'Same motor but in the ultimate frame which by the way are still produced by Panther Racing. Rocketship!' He continues, 'The photo is from 1982. I raced mainly in The Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Raced on a regular basis races at Castle Rock , Bellingham , Sidewinders in Oregon and races in BC and other parts of Canada. I have a few other pics as well of the bike on the track.'

Dig. What a bike! And those leathers…🏁
David ‘Big Ginger’ Dennis was fast on that CanAm. The Panther chassis was cats ass.
Hell yes Dave!! looks like a great set-up, nice leathers and helmet combo too. I wonder how many of these beautiful, total function, framers got crushed or rotted away behind sheds. Nice slice of history. Thanks for sharing. Hardy AU
