I made it to 0245 before I quit the live stream and watched the rest on catch-up yesterday.

I really liked the round table, as for someone who has only seen Chris Carr speaking they just humanised a whole bunch of racers in one go.

I kinda liked the slightly homemade feel of the thing, but that's me all over. Yup, the sound did suck and would need fixing for any future outing, but for a one off I think it was worth bearing with it.

I thought having the heat loser sitting with the commentator for the next race was a nice touch too. It's something I hadn't seen before, and for me added to the whole thing. Halbe…

The racing was truly spectacular! The audio needs a great deal of improvement. My feeling is this: brutal honesty is required from the fans who paid to watch. For repeat customers, it will be imperative (for me) to get a guarantee from promoters that the a/v equipment will be of higher quality, and some prep time spent rehearsing for sake of production value. That sort of match racing on *equal, blind draw bikes, is an equation that could prove successful with better production value. Again, the racing was fantastic!

*The Estenson bike that Mees drew, seemed clearly faster than the rest...until he blew it up!

That was hugely entertaining. Thanks for the link - I never would have seen it. Hopefully you can watch the racing on replay - I've got work in the morning!
