Dinan Flat Track, France

Here are some details about flat track riding opportunities in France form our old pal Yann (see his Sportster Hooligan and BCKustoms Honda 600 Bone Destroyer).

Here are all the details about the Brittany event next September. The event is hosted by Makdam Kulture for the fifth year in Dinan (35km from St Malo ferries arriving from Portsmouth with Brittany Ferries). It will take place 12-13 September.

The event is a motorcycle festival which brought over 9000 people last year for two days. All profits are fully distributed to 2 organisations: One is the Distinguished Gentleman's ride for men's cancers and the other is giving support to children having long stays in hospital. Most manufacturers are represented, custom motorcycle workshops, clothing, custom paint... Rides along the Rance valley to St Malo, concerts, bike show, catering, camping area...

I've been asked to help organise a flat track demo on a one event track in the infield. We had a 520m track last year, but struggled from temperature to keep dust down. This year, we're going with a 350m flat track course and we got an extra budget to have a better track preparation.

It's 45,00 euros to register for the two days with Paypal. All details per PM @BCkustoms or info@bckustoms.

We had 25 riders for that first demo. All of them should be back this year.

Mandatory insurance has to be taken at @Assure ton sport, online registration and about 6,00 euros a day, 13,00 euros for the week-end including fees.

Saturday morning (9am-noon), we have Wilfried Delestre giving track school. Interested riders have to register directly with Wilfried Delestre on Facebook. Flat track sessions are then starting 1pm till 6pm and then Sunday 9am-6pm.

We'll try to keep sessions with 6 riders for 8 laps each session. Depending on machines registered, we'll try to have different classes so the hooligans do not ride with Sunday motors...

DTRA riders will be more than welcome if the 2020 racing program allows them to be available. We can help if needed for them to join us in Dinan.
