I have family in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, so whenever I have visited them in the last few years I've made time to meet up with regular Sideburn collaborator, Ryan Quickfall. His studio is on the fifth floor of a building, with no working lift (elevator), in the city centre. He currently shares the space with photographer, and Sideburn contributor, Tom Bing and signwriter Ashley Willerton.
On the most recent visit, a couple of weeks ago, I took these photos of the shared workspace. That's Ryan, above, with Maggie, the dog he and his soon to be wife, Kay rescued.

Skateboard decks designed for the Cinema company; old Doohan rep; 2016 DTRA number board.
Ryan constantly works, for clients and also trying new techniques. There is hardly a day goes buy that he has created something.

Some of Ashley's paint stocks.
Tom's corner. Tom was away working in Norway.
Three amigos.
