DJ Dave Taylor and I drove out in the old Sideburn Transporter to Café Racer Festival at the Montlhéry track near Paris over the weekend. I've written a column for the magazine since 2009 and contributed to it for much longer than that. This is their fifth festival at the incredible old autodrome. The editor/owner Bertrand Bussilet invited Sideburn to have a stand and we returned for the first time since 2014. It's clashed with Dirt Quake USA for the last two years, so we couldn't make it out.
I have half-a-dozen posts worth of photos coming up, but I'll start with this one. Our mates Star Twin, from the Netherlands go to the festival every year and took this XLCR for sale. It's a 751 mile only example on original tyres. It's €25,000. Sounds like an investment.
